Coalition for Anomalous Tactical Security (C.A.T.S)
Case Designation: PERSONA NON GRATA — “HANNAH”
Clearance Level: Gamma-Black
Filed By: Commander S. Gravy, C.A.T.S Central
Background
Subject Hannah — real name [REDACTED] — was once one of C.A.T.S’ most decorated infiltration operatives. Code-named "Rabbit", she specialized in deep-cover work, often operating alone for months inside hostile anomalous zones.
She was fearless, precise, and trusted with secrets that only a handful of living C.A.T.S members had access to.
That trust ended during OPERATION BLACKTAIL.
Incident Summary — OPERATION BLACKTAIL
Hannah was embedded in a high-risk retrieval mission to secure an experimental containment artifact codenamed “Reef” from the Joint Terrestrial–Anomalous Events Committee (JTAEC) before it could be reverse-engineered.
Instead of returning with the artifact, she vanished from comms for 72 hours.
When she resurfaced, it was not at C.A.T.S HQ — but at a JTAEC safehouse. She delivered Reef into their hands personally, along with intelligence files detailing over 23 active C.A.T.S operations.
This leak led to the loss of three field teams, including Unit Rammstein, one of Sheepy’s forward support detachments.
Aftermath
Her betrayal was not simply a breach of security — it was personal.
Sheepy’s reaction was described as “unnervingly calm” at first, but several weeks later, three JTAEC field vehicles were found dismantled into thousands of pieces and arranged into a crude effigy of a goat, marked with the single word: “TRAITOR.”
Agent Biscuit, head of Recon, reportedly removed all archived commendations bearing Hannah’s name, replacing them with an internal memo reading simply:
DO NOT SPEAK OF HER. DO NOT FORGET HER.
From that moment forward, Hannah was officially declared KIA on public C.A.T.S records — but privately, her name remained on the Active Elimination List.
Current Status
Intel indicates that Hannah now operates as a freelance anomalous contractor, occasionally aligning with JTAEC, but more often working for the highest bidder.
C.A.T.S has intercepted her in the field twice — both encounters ending with Hannah escaping, but leaving behind subtle “calling cards” to mock her pursuers. These include:
A black feather tied with red wool.
Photographs of C.A.T.S HQ taken from inside restricted zones.
A tin can painted entirely in jet black, with the pull-tab removed.
Standing Orders
All C.A.T.S personnel are advised:
Hannah is to be considered extremely dangerous — both in combat and psychological warfare.
Engagement is authorized only if capture is viable. Termination is the fallback option.
Sheepy has placed a personal bounty — one unflavored tin can, spiral-horn carved, on her retrieval.
Commander’s Closing Statement
“We don’t hate her because she left.
We hate her because she chose our enemies.
And one day, she’s going to regret it.”
